Why is Finland so happy?
Their secret is a 500-year-old concept called Sisu.
... Stoic determination, tenacity of purpose, grit, bravery, resilience, and hardiness.
During the Winter War of 1939–1940, the Finnish perseverance in the face of the invasion by the Soviet Union popularized this word in English for a generation.
So of course here's a limerick about it..
In Finland's land of joy and bliss,
Lies "sisu," a gem they wouldn't miss.
No direct word, but hear this cue,
It's about grit and fortitude too.
Find purpose, train strong, and let nature support all of this.
